Terrell Griffin

"I am nothing more than an instrument...a vessel to be used in the service of the Lord. I only desire to please Him in all that I do."

My Story

A native of Baton Rouge, LA, Terrell began his musical career at the age of 6, playing the bass guitar, with the encouragement of his mother. Under the guidance of his father, the late Johnny Adams, Terrell developed an early appreciation for many musical greats such as Jaco Pastorius, Noel Neal, and The Brothers Johnson. He had the opportunity to nurture his passion for music by studying under the late Alvin Batiste of Southern University. After obtaining his degree, he was graced with many life-changing opportunities to begin traveling across the nation, establishing what is now a revered, highly-accomplished career of his own.

Since the conception of his music career, gospel music enthusiasts across the nation have known Terrell as a gifted songwriter, bassist, and vocalist, as well as an anointed arranger and producer. This great success; however, is only providing a glimpse into the work Terrell dedicates himself to. Finding tremendous fulfillment in giving back, and as the founder and CEO of Lorrelle Music Group, Terrell has been instrumental in mentoring and educating young scholars about the beauty of music as well as empowering them with life skills.

In addition to working with some of the industry’s most outstanding artists such as the incomparable Yolanda Adams, John P. Kee and Fred Hammond, Terrell has recorded and produced multiple projects. To name a few, “Hold Out,” his debut cd, followed by “In His Presence,” “Be Free” and most recently, the award-winning “120 Minutes of God,” earning him the Independent Recording Artist Awards for Male Artist of the Year, Contemporary Artist of the Year and Album of the Year.

Terrell has been happily married to the love of his life, Lora, for over 31 years. He is the father of three beautiful daughters: Taylor, Kennedy and Nicole. He serves as Minister of Music at Charity Christian Center, although wherever he is, experiencing the presence of God is the ultimate goal. While Terrell is grateful for the life that has been afforded to him, he measures success by this standard, through which his soulful & engaging music and its lyrics will warm your hearts, make you lift your hands and recognize that God is in your midst, wherever you are.
